Photo editing for your children's school photos for yearbook

Customer: "Hoping you can work your photo editing magic for us again. My son's school photo came out a bit goofy. Is it possible to replace his head using the other photo attached? If there is any way to send them today, I would appreciate it. I am trying to meet a yearbook deadline..."

Customer: "One other question - is the quality of the scanned school photo okay for this? I scanned it at 1200 dpi but the sweatshirt looks really grainy. Not sure why because it looks fine in the actual photo."

FreePhotoEditing: "Welcome again :-). The scanned photo is okay, and it's a good size. But I think 1921 photo (the one to source the face from) is quite small. Would be desirable if you sent a bigger copy (if you have one), so you could end up with an edited photo that would make a good print possible."

Customer: "Attached is 1921 before I cropped it. The file size is quite a bit bigger so hopefully that will work. I also rescanned the school photo and attached new version. It is slightly better, but still not sure why sweatshirt is so grainy. The sweatshirt in the print copy is totally solid. I will make payment now. I am also going to send you one other job."
