In 1999, we were retained
by an oil company to digitally reconstruct a major fire
incident that had occurred in 1971. There were no photographs
of the fire, only descriptions in files and verbal accounts
of employees most of whom had since retired. Armed with
on-file accounts and briefs from the company's engineers
we generated this 36-hour long sequence.
The first photograph was the only image provided to us.
This was the cover shot on an old issue of the company's
in-house journal. We created the rest...
This journal cover was the only reference provided by the client.
We recreated the
incident...
